Bryan Amaro is from the Central San Joaquin Valley of California, where his family has been involved in agriculture for generations. His first job was working in the fields in his father's agricultural service business.
Bryan transferred to San Diego State University for his bachelor's in nursing in the Fall of 2011 and has been in San Diego ever since. He started his healthcare career as an ICU nurse in 2013, working through 2018 and in 2022, he completed his Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified from the University of San Diego.
In 2018, he co-founded Healthy U Behavioral Health, a substance abuse and mental health treatment center for adults and adolescents. In 2022, he co-founded SD Wellness Group, an outpatient psychiatry, therapy, SPRAVATO®, and transcranial magnetic stimulation private practice with Deomel Soriano.
